A concept art piece for a Rave-inspired, 3D platformer with rhythm and action elements. The character was supposed to look like a hunter in cave full of rave lights and sounds coming from the environment and the creatures that live within.
The design started with a collection of thumbnails based on the prompt, working toward a hunter or roguish character with a few pops of contrast to stand out against the environment for visibility to the player.
Further steps included honing in the look for the outfit, face, and color scheme. Then the turnaround was created to get an impression of the character in 3D space.
Finally a posed design was created to illustrate the moves she might use in-game.
